Qualification structure
All qualifications are built from units. You can work towards a qualification by completing units. Every unit and qualification has a credit value and is a way of measuring and evaluating your learning. For example; 1 credit represents 10 learning hours.
Recognised prior learning
We will take into account your previous formal and informal experience, qualifications and learning. This will enable you to complete a unit of course work through knowledge, understanding or skills that you may possess already.
Progression in employment
Our qualifications are designed to enable progression in your chosen field and expand your learning opportunities, including studying for higher level sector-specific qualifications (bricklaying, tiling, plastering,
artexing
and
multi-trade).
